Camp Supplies
Campers should come each day in their required riding attire. Other clothing and supplies should be brought in a zipped backpack or duffel bag. Pony Dream Farms is not responsible for missing or lost belongings. We suggest names written on clothing, etc. Please see list below of items to not bring.
Required Riding Attire:
- Helmets: All riders are required to wear an equestrian safety helmet when mounted. We can provide on a temporary basis or you may purchase your own. The helmet must be ASTM/SEI approved, and should fit snugly and firmly on the head. Chin straps must be fastened and fit snugly.
- Foot Wear: All riders MUST wear sturdy boots with a low heel. These may be Western (preferably not chunky type) or English paddock style. No exceptions.
- Half Chaps: Recommended for students learning to trot and canter., not required for brand new beginners. A good combination for beginner English riding are short “paddock” boots combined with half chaps that can be worn with jeans or breeches.
- Clothing: Jeans (well fitting, not too tight or loose) (not the loose or baggy type) or traditional riding breeches. Comfortable t-shirt in light colors during hot weather.
